Pok Pok Junior is definitely one of my go-to places for Thai food in Melbourne CBD. The food is super tasty and the place has a good ambiance if you’re dining in.

I also grab my coffee from here everyday and can say it is very consistent and delicious. They also have a good selection of breakfast/snack options available.
Best part is the owners and staff are very friendly and I have always received excellent customer service here.

Tuck into kaffir-infused, coriander-riddled bowls of goodness in minutes. In the kitchen, young folk in baseball caps furiously dash about, while the staff up front greet and seat lanyard-wearing workers at stools and bus shelter-inspired banquettes.


Expect a lively region-hopping menu of Chinese, Persian and Malay-influenced Thai, among a modest offering of Western favourites like Tom Yum and Pad Thai. The lush, coconut-based curries of Central and Southern Thailand can be enjoyed in tandem with the earthier wonders of the north, such as Khao Kha Moo – a five-spice broth with pickled mustard greens and hog shank, or Chiang Mai pork neck.
